Hovis, kind of ignore me I read that it went to your front wheel not as you said front sprocket
![]() Surprised that 1 tooth would make that much difference, but if it does & in the right direction, then I guess a speedo healer is the way. |

I think you can get 2 different types of speedo healer mechanical or electrical. Although you may have analogue clocks, the signal to them could be digital ???

Do they? I'm sure I've read on here that they take it from the front wheel, some people were asking if they'd need to do something to sort the speedo once they change sprockets and the answer seemed to be no for the magnet reason.
I don't know myself mind, just thought I'd read different. Would be useful to know definitively because I just went 15/46 from 15/44 standard on my K3 S and thought my speedo was still fine. Better get it sorted if it's not reading correctly now though. |

However the Honda uses a long knotted string that you drop over the side and count the knots that pass through your fingers for 30 seconds. ![]() Last edited by Mogs; 25-07-07 at 03:03 PM. Reason: Removal of smilie if you key in an 8 then ) |

Mine goes into the crankcase - your's is on the front sproket cover, should be a 16tooth sprocket.
I don't know if simply getting a UK sensor would work - not sure how the bike's 'brain' translates the information though. |

Now there's a question I asked of many things, for a long time!
![]() You'd think that a UK clock and UK sensor would read 'true' - or an import clock and import sensor - but that's probably far too straight forward to actually be true. ![]() Is it a 16 tooth sprocket? |
