Default Re: What paperwork is needed for a first MOT?

I called in at the MOT place as I was passing anyway and the chap wanted the V5. I got the impression he would have happily done it without it, but I thought why not get the guy on side/make it easy for him?

Just returned from my bike's first MOT and it passed fine, just needed the headlights adjusting (up, not down- I knew no drivers had been flashing me). I've marks on my garage wall/floor so I have a reference point for calibrating that in future. So, 18 months of learning to spanner on it and doing all my own servicing/repairs and it would appear the bike is still mechanically sound.
