fitted hamicad to my k7 last weekend.
very easy to fit and fits perfectly (as in no drilling, filing or making spacers etc)
however, i found mine to leave a gap on each side where the original undertray should cover the rear bolts.
im not bothered tho, as u prob wouldnt notice it if u didnt know it was there!!
id recommend them tho

I ordered an evotech tailtidy for my K4 SV650S and am very disappointed by it and am wondering if anyone else has experienced the problems that I have.

I had to drill enlarge the holes on one of the bracket by a good bit where you mount the bracket to the subframe to get it to fit.

I had to fashion spacers myself out of wood as none were provided to make the original indicators fit the new bracket.

The rear fairing does not sit flush with the original undertray anymore. The plastic tabs that you must remove to take off the rear fairing stick out now. The new tail tidy seems to sit too far back and is not allowing the rear fairing to sit far enough forward to align perfectly or sit flush with the undertray without modifying it.

For something simple that cost £45 it should be made perfectly and not require the installer to source parts for himself and drill out holes. Plus the instructions were rubbish.

Sounds like you had the same problem I had with my k4.

After contacting Evotech it was apparent that they had sent me the k5
model by mistake.

Got to be fair they sent me out the right one same day and even included postage costs within the package to send back the wrong tidy.

New one fitted no problem but did download the hamicad fitting instructions which were more simple to follow.

My evotech fitted perfectly, although the indicators don't tighten up as well as i'd like. I'd buy one agiain though.

Maybe it is the same problem as you had as I also have a K4. I have to say Im not looking forward to doing the thing all over again it took about 2 hours but that included drilling, making wooden spacers and finally realising that it wasn;t my fault that the fairing and undertray wouldn't align.
I still need to find a new home for the light for my alarm which was attached to the old mudguard so if the tail tidy was for the wrong model and they send out a replacement even after me oversizing the holes then that'll be a good excuse to scratch the head and find somewhere else to fit it.

I'll keep you guys updated don't want to completely write off a company's product before I give them a chance to explain themselves.

I just took off the back fairing behind the pillion and drilled a hole in it and put the led through from underneath. Doesn`t come off too easy though.
Its better there anyway that way everyone can see your bike has an alarm
