Mel: depends whether it was a decent bottle or the cheapest one on the wine list
If it was me that had bought an anonymous lady a bottle of champers, I would have liked her (or even a friend) to have come over and say something "even if it was 'get lost you sicko' ..." LOL (no seriously, I would have liked a "thanks ..." and either "no thanks" or "here's my number").

Dirk: Everyone either missed that, or chose to ignore it (you sick depraved man) ... personally, it was my kinda humour, I just never spotted this thread until too late LMAO
