My gaffer is 6'10" & he used to ride a CBR600
He's now riding a classic Z1, but looking for a 1150/1200GS as his back now plays him up on longer trips! |

SV's fine with my legs + back but then again i've come off a KR1s so anything is like xmas. R+G's make no difference whatsoever to riding position, the only thing i will say is if you weigh a bit and are not use to the front end diving off then it's a bit freaky but you get use to it after a while.

I think I'll try it with the OEM screen, but I've been hearing good things on here about the F Fenddi DB screen for us giants and getting out of the resultant blast at 70.... |

My double-bubble arrived this evening and I fitted it and went for a ride. If I'm sitting upright then my shoulders still catch a lot of the windblast, but it's much easier to duck out of the wind now!

To be honest i rode it for 250 miles on the 2nd day i had it and it was standard and i was fine, had an aching back and a sore knee but didn't feel like i'd been kicked in like i used to after a day on my crosser!!

You can rest your knees on the crash bungs if you want- it's actually quite comfortable doing that! I use them to push the bike down in corners- a kind of knee-up technique

Ianofbhills is a big lad, e seems comfy enough on his despite the high rearsets. Plus, he can get just about get his knee down on straights
