I passed on my virago 125, then straight onto my VN900 which was 249kgs - mistake!
I find the sv great in comparison, really light, only at low speeds is weight in issue, ormoving it about. The best thing for me personally was going out and doing miles, but like anyone you will have off days, especially if you are feeling under the weather. Just remember even bikers that have been riding for years have crap days, they are no different. Sounds like you are doing great anyway- do you have any female friends with bikes? Quite helpful maybe to see how they managed with the extra weight. |

My thoughts... it's all experiance, you went out not feeling 100% and a lesson was learnt, it all adds up, stick to it, knowing when not to ride is as (if not more) important than the other way round.
Miles under the wheels and time in the saddle are both your friends, keep it up. Cheers Mark.
