Good suggestions all round but FWIW, the R6 throttle tube reduces leverage.......well I can feel the dfference anyways.

That said, it might be a case of the nerves running the length and breath of my palms being mucho sensitive

Give your cables a proper lube, my SV's throttle is light and flicks back so quickly and effortlessy. The R6 throttle doesn't make the throttle any lighter, you're still be using the same mechanism and cables (its a mental myth)!!!

ye it returns in a snap, its just twisting the throttle on an sv, and on a inline 4, the revs climb a lot quicker, and i can twist it with 2 fingers, not so with the sv.

I was just offering the OP the chance to have a bike a little more like mine.

you are comparing chalk and cheese there young man. V twins don't thrive on revs, its how they are. I just think you may be being a little choosy, maybe theres not actually anything wrong with it( not that I'm trying to insult you)

Oilling the cables with 3 in 1 should do the job. After veiwing you're impressive youtube video i'd just like to ask if you do requests, like quick setting concrete?

hmm lets be all scientific then.

on all the other bikes ive been on, the throttle is a LOT more responsive, but i am not worried about this,

what is annoying me, is to turn the throttle to max, on the sv is requires, say 40 newtons of force, but on the other bikes it requires only 5.
the throttle is not sticking, it returns and shuts itself in miliseconds, i just wanted a more responsive lighter throttle.

me thinks i see a video to explain it - if people still don't understand my gibberish.

If you're going to be scientific, then allow me...

To turn the throttle, or indeed turn anything requires a torque, a turning moment, which would be better expressed in newton-meters, lbf-ft, dyn-cm etc. etc.

Or to put it another, slightly less scientific way, take the advice of lots of people with lots of miles and light throttles, and lube the cables and linkages. If that doesn't help then a cable could be pinched, or the twistgrip needs lubing.
