The one in the background has seen better days too! Whats with the crate under the wheel?

The crate is there so they can slide the bike along. The impact sent a ripple through the bike so the back wheel can't be turned either.

Good to see your crash bungs worked on the one side!

Hope your both recovering, tank looks nasty, I've got a plastic one, wonder what would happen with that!

that's one helluvan impact!!!

Can anyone advise me on what value i should be getting from insurance.

Bike was registered in Oct06, 5500miles, perfect condition, aftermarket can, tinted screen, crash bungs, euclase silver.

they have offered me ?3350

Seems ok to me ~ should i go for 3500??

it's a good price!! I would look on the net for similar bikes to urs and see what they go for

end of the day there is no harm in bargaining a bit - they might give u ?3.5k
