if you have a witness on your side she'll have a rough time trying to pin any blame on you, don't let her legal side mess you about either, but it sounds like your dad has a grip on it, hope it all goes well and you heal soon

Was the road you were on a main A road. If it was I thought the law stated that you're not allowed to reverse from a turning out into a main road i.e. she should reverse the car into the drive so she can drive out safely. I had a copper slow down and look at me real funny once whilst filtering past traffic. it was double white lines in the road but I was still my side of them. I spoke to another copper about this later that day and asked if I was in the wrong and he said he couldn't see anything wrong in that if I wasn't speeding and he then said that's half the point in buying a bike so that you don't get held up in traffic.

Yes (honestly you probably could, if it was America you probably would)

You're not supposed to reverse out onto a main road.

If there were double white lines there, and you were on "your" side of them, then it may be helpful if witnesses state that.

Bike is probably a write off yes, but there's a fair chance the frame is OK so you could buy back salvage if its cat C'd and repair it for a couple of hundred quid.

that dent in your tank has made my eyes water at the thought!! those forks look nicely snapped. is all your gear knackered as well? glad you're relatively alright though. did you say she was reversing out then? i didn't quite understand.
