Maybe the 675 wasn't designed for night riding I'll try a bulb but the the H7 replacements I've seen on the 675 site really are fantastic. I emailed the (UK) seller and they said yep it's plug and play so I hope it would be fairly straightforward to fit. Anyway it's high time that I learned!!

Plus I need some new tyres now, so lots of spend upcoming. I'm going to be mr popular at home.
Its designed for the track - just like the SS600's

Oh and sunny Sunday afternoon bimbles to the local Biker Haunt.

Bikes have always suffered from that, headlights designed to look good rather than to light the way. But getting projectors that wrong is a bit of an impressive feat- that's the big advantage of projectors, they're small so you can make your car or bike pretty and still have it light the road.

It's a Triumph design feature, the ST has carp lights too.

Lights are OK, yep they're correctly set. Just dismal. I think that SK is right - designed for track and Sunny Sundays. Grrr.

I'll get a bulb and also get the kit, decide what I like - if I fit it I'll do some piccies as I go and post up a how to, which will be completely irrelevant for all but 3* other users of this site. Deal?

* = Paws, teriyakimonkey, lylej. Have I missed anyone?

There's an ace pic on the net somewhere of lexus 340 series projector lamps with HID. I want some. Perfect beam pattern and MENTALLY powerful.

Ouch! That's a lot of money Ed. I blame Europe for making us have the single light.

I fitted the Philips Xtreme (I think) bulb and can't see a bit of difference despite all the hype. I always thought the HID ws a bit more than plug and play.

Let us know how you get on. (BTW they're illegal unless standard fitment)

P.S. I was toying with finding out if a dipped left hand reflector could be fited into the right hand side of the headlight with a dual filament bulb fitted.
