I have/had these on my K8 pointy and they saved the levers on my recent off.
In fact....I'll be selling the guards (now my bike is written off) on here in the next few days. They are a bit scratched but will still keep the wind off. |

Ok here are some pics of the Install on an ABM Comfort Kit equipped SV650S K3
![]() This is the Left side Handguard , the Circled area shows a small patch where I had to cut out a bit of the Guard so it fitted snugly against the switchgear , used a Junior Hacksaw to do that and it took about 10 seconds to do , will tidy it up with a file and Paper when I remove them after the Winter . ![]() I then fitted the Renthal bar-end into the end of the Renthal bars and butted the Handguard up to the bar-end , a Stainless Penny Washer was placed over the plastic of the Handguard and the Allen bolt was then tightened up with a dab of Blue Loctite lipstick type stuff . ![]() External view of Penny Washer on Right side Handguard . ![]() Front view . Like I have stated before , not the prettiest thing but they can be removed in minutes and have kept my hands so well protected that I didn`t bother with Heated Grips this week . Hope this has been some help to those with ABM kits ![]() |

Sod it, im doing this to my bike too. I've not had the muffs fitted this week, and its been so much more manouverable. But it would be nice to have the gaurds to keep the wind off in the morning.
Wil order my set tomorrow. |

They will fit the curvy as well.
Grinch has had some on his curvy S. I purchased some a while back but have yet to get them fitted on the bike. (as I am a lazy git) Right now I have no where to work on the bike unless it's warm enough ride it to my garage(work) in town. But if it's warm enough to ride......(hasn't been alot).....I just go riding! ![]() The bolts are too long for the S but the size needed is a common size and can be purchased anywhere that sells bolts. 65mm is the length needed. Can't remember the thread & pitch size though...maybe 8mm X ???..er.. something ???? Take an old one with you.

Bolts dont concern me, my dad is a mechanic...he;s got loads stashed about the place. I've got bolts and some other bits on my bike from pre-1980 cars
