The R6 master cylinder is pretty nice, I'm using one again just now... It's got a similiar spec to the standard one so it doesn't massively change things, no super twitchy lever or ridiculously short travel or anything, it's just like a better version of the standard one. Top mounted bleeder for easier maintenance, very direct and un-flexy feel, and not too pricey either since R6 folks often replace them anyway... Forget about radial/axial and all that rubbish, it means nothing, but a well made part is a well made part, the SV one does the job just fine but it can be beat. Oh, but some folks have some issues with clearance against the fairing, I had to cut a wee bit off the lever span adjuster IIRC.

I liked EBC pads in the SV calipers but I didn't exactly try many- they did the job so I never tried anything else. I like Carbon Lorraine in general but I couldn't fault the EBCs at all.

Cheers for your input guys, I'll see if I can source a more powerful mastercylinder off a naked bike today (that's the only problem there aren't many naked r6's or gixxers!)

You'll have to look in the Yamaha or Suzuki range for a performance naked I guess. MT 01 for Yam and that hideous thing Suzuki do with the Busa engine. My mind has blanked it out completely. Phew!

Cheers, think I'll end up with an sv one unless local bike shops got anything in at a decent price. If not it's off to swinton...I love beer anyway
