Thanks for that, it was my first ever so wasn't sure if having a big mix of abilities in 'novice' was normal. Think the answer is absolutely to go for novice only day. See you for that I hope!

I would say that that had a lot to do with the fact it was a free day!
THe Inters was sold out long before I don't think novice did sellout so obviously everyone just piled in there.
It's mostly going to be experienced people that will have heard bout this eg I got the email because I registered for a Metz offer last year so it was definitly biased to experience riders.
I wouldn't let it put you off a normal paid for trackday & just book in the Novices, although some organisers are better than others.
