shame as stoner is a superb rider, (but a bit of a whinger) be good to see kalio on the works duke though as i really do rate him.

funniest quote from facebook (yeah I know!!) "stoner has a virus and will have to go and see the doctor to try and get some speed"

Really gutted to see Stoner go out like this - what racing fan doesn't want to see the title race battled out to the end, with the top guys pushing eachother to the limit?

Pedrosa is missing a certain something for me this year (aside from the personality!), but thank goodness we still have Lorenzo to keep Rossi on his toes...

I am surprised that Stoner is having so long off.

Other riders get broken this and that and riding soon after.

Dunno but something not right with Chuckles...not even close.

There's a big difference between breaking bones or spraining joints and medical disorders. If he's vomiting all the time, persistently fatigued and all the other stuff that's been coming out in the press then that's going to have a much bigger impact than just the pain of a broken bone.

True...but what has been revealed to the press are relatively mild and Stoners symptoms are not. I beleive he could have a more serious illness than is let on.

i wonder if there is anything we are not being told, as mentioned above it is strange for a rider who is in with the chance of winning the championship to keep away from the racing for so long. if rossi and lorenzo have bad weekends, dnf or dns, then the points leap would be substantial.

Next 2 races don't clash, but 3rd one does USA motogp and Germany WSBK. Will be interesting to see what will happen then.

Stoner hasn't been the right for the last season and half i think. What with ll the problems with his wrist last year.

Never nice to see, although he is a cry baby sometimes, a great asset to the championship lost.

One things for sure, there's nothing wrong with his bike after first practice today, Kallio was magic. I think Haydens' problems just got a whole lot bigger!

Kallio has a bit of an advantage in that he has ridden a Ducati for a year and a half where as Hayden has only ridden for half a year, so, he isn't going to be as good as Kallio.

I feel sorry for Fabrizio, in at the deep end and last with over a 3 second gap between his lap time and Lorenzo's...

Are all MotoGP riders that fast or are the bikes that difficult to use!?
