Had my bike for 3 weeks - Datatool System 3 is working fine. Parked on road, no false alarms, picked up a spare fob for £20 off fleabay and programmed it in myself. Only problem is it arming itself after 30 seconds - just have to be super gentle with fuel cap or keep turning it off.

Hoping that and a disklock will keep it safe . My house mate should be fetching his bandit back anyway so can lock to that as well.

You can put it into service mode whilst you fill up. Should say in the manual some where, from memory you hold down one of the buttons for 2 seconds, but its been a while since I had mine. I'm sure someone in this thread will be able to tell you.I was always forgetting to do it mind, then the alarm would go off.

for the acumen system, service mode is the same as diagnostic mode, you hold the arm button for a few seconds, the bike squeaks and it basically disables the alarm, then press the arm key again to come out of it.

Guessing from what you say about the datatool system that they operate in a similar manner
