I think the year is important - a 2001 J2 ZX6R like I used to have is pretty different than say a 2004 ZX6R. One is large, comfy and a good all rounder, the other is a mean, vicious, nasty track weapon (by all accounts - sadly I've never ridden the 04).

They're all well different throughout the years. The ZX6R probably changed the most, the old ones feel like an almost-useful bike after sitting on a new one.
