How many people are still using their wine goblets or glasses they got from Esso?

There were also saving stamp thingies in certain brands of cigarettes. Smoke yourself to death in order to get a radiogram

Happy, carefree days.

What about the tiger tail to hang from your rear view mirror.

As Jo likes to point out, I have the vocabulary of someone easily twice my age (when we first started going out I took great joy in using phrases that couldn't be literally translated, and were well out of their time to annoy her). "The never never" is a wonderful phrase that I'd forgotten, and shall now resurrect in general conversation, thanks Ed!

Omo for us.

Lets get 60s controversial then. Gollywogs on jam. Black & white minstrel show. Couldn't be coloured tv for that show.

My own hate from that era, having to wear a school cap, matching blazer etc. But even worse regulation socks with two green bands. I suppose I was lucky as my sister had to wear a green hat in winter, a straw boater in summer and also had regulation knickers.

I remember Sunday dinner taking about 4 hours to make, followed by parents sleeping in front of the dambusters or similar fodder, then huge washing up fest followed by tea and bathtime with the kings singers on the wireless then bed.
I still hate Sundays.
