Did this to my thumb at crimbo aswell, flapped it back over and healed quite good.

Never mind knives it's forks you've got to watch out for, never kick a bag with an old rusty fork in it, or you may just decorate your foot with three pretty holes all neatly aligned (p.s. didn't know a fork was in the bag til it was too late..)

Actually, I was extremely calm though Mrs Tallguy was less so.

I ensured the dogs were fed & watered, got some magazines in case of a long wait at A&E, and told Mrs Tallguy to slow down driving, there's no rush.

Having rarely been injured, I wasn't sure that I didn't need sewing up (fish line is my favourite, of course). Glad I didn't.
