Buy the same lock from a shop, send it back with the invoice saying you no longer want it, get proof of receipt at their end. Jobs a good'un.

Enjoy the new bike!

Oh btw thats a folding bike not a racing bike.

It has two folding points, one on the top tube and one on the downtube. Should get a couple of hundred £££ for it on eBay.

I'd feel like keeping it, but I dont think I would be able to, I dont know why I would feel uncomfortable about keeping something that I hadnt ordered.

I'd be inclined to ring the company that you ordered from and tell them what you received isnt what you ordered and ask them to come and collect it and send out what you did order.

If they tell you to keep it, then fair enough, if they dont well you havent lost out financially if they come and collect it and if you end up with the lock you ordered then all is fair.

If it was a small item then maybe I would be so uncomfortable about it, but something worth £500 I just wouldnt be able to keep.

Or tell the company that they have 5 working days to come and collect the eyesore from his house before he disposes of it.

Plan!
What if they ask for payment to remove it though?
