No, that's the other one, doesn't seem to show it. although they may be identical.
I don't have a clear shot of it but you can just see it here (in fact you can see both in this shot). Druid

No, in your picture there the bottom one, now I may be wrong but that looks like this one in the OP's picture, certainly the right place just below the coil.

Ah, well that was the bit I thought was protruding in the original pics, but he has assured us all spacers were removed.

Looking at the pics that was posted of all the removed bits, the above pic does seem to be a spacer - I remember there being 4 aluminium spacers for the bolts holding the cylinder heads in the frame when I took mine apart, and the picture of bits removed only shows 3.

Right well I managed to get the damn thing out eventually, what a night mare, but went smoothly only snapped two things so in my eyes thats a good result, but after taking out the engine, the full scale of how much there is to do when it comes to changing a gearbox hit me, so thought screw that, im puttnig it all back together again lmao!!!
But thanks to everyone for the helpful info!!!! |

Good news that you got it out E-T, and hilarious that you've decided to go no further and are putting it back in again.
Well at least you haven't missed any decent riding days. ![]() |

I'd just get a new (second hand) engine rather than try and strip/rebuild.
Thats from someone who is perfectly happy to strip and rebuild an engine[1] (and has done many). Druid [1] Some of them even ran afterwards! ![]()
