Ideally check the throttle or roll off very slightly while bring the bike more upright at the same time.

However, most won't even have a chance to think about it! Just has to be an instinctive reaction but unfortunately, most will snap the throttle shut instead

What tyre's you running atm? Pilot Road 2's are great road tyre's imo. There are plenty of others too, id say sports touring will probably be a nice choice, these days there is virtually nothing in them and sports rubber!

Plowsie I think if I didn't have the ability to use 130bhp I would have thrown it already. Now I'm nit saying I'm an amazing rider i clearly still make mistakes still but I must be doing some thing right to have lasted the hardest part if the
year with out any trouble. Now I've had slides before this was just a bit more excitin than most. The whole event was a mix of every thing I think, it wasn't the warmest day out, to much to soon maybe, I'm Not feeling the tires either but I then I had tht feeling before I put away before winter.

It's still currently it the
stock tires. Bt016 I believe. I like the on the sv and have used them for the last three sets. However I'm not feeling the response I would like on the gsxr, I feel like there should be more. I know it's not really the time to be giving
opinions as I'm sure once the weather warms up they will be alot better. This is the biggest tire i've spent a while riding And so I'm still learning how they are.

Cheer scott

Odd, BT016 are the dual compound front and tri-rear aren't they?

The sort of riding your apparently doing would IMO be enough to get heat in the tyres, so maybe your not actually building up enough heat in the tyres...

EDIT: Also, what you say about not being handle the hp you'd have thrown it already is a very poor comment.

As plowsie said riding like you supposedly are doing would be doing enough to get those tyres warm. However if you were sedately riding and then all of a sudden threw it into a corner expecting grip, things will go wrong.

I fail at that. Got highsided last time.
Trick is not to have YC behind you! lol
twice he's been behind me and seen my SV's back wheel try to over take the front. Both times would have been classed as my fault had I binned it (one a car changing lanes I tried to go round the back of rather than slow down and wait, the 2nd was an overtake which wasnt really nessecary I just HATE been sat behind taxi's lol). They're never nice moments scotty I can vouch for that no matter if your been a bit silly or not.
Besides did I read scotty that you do a bit of motor cross/enduro? A little back end twitch wont **** you up as it would most these tarmac monkies I'm sure the other off roaders (speedplay etc) will back me up that a bit off drift is what its all about

Yes. But possibly no in this case!

If they are the OEM tyres, they are single compound front and dual compound rear. You can check the sidewall for the OEM code. If they are aftermarket BT016 then plowsie is correct.
