Im currently with MCE, they gave me £400 fully comp on my curvy. Renews in September, so if I change bike before then, shouldn't I stick with MCE, and just top up my current insurance?

they may well be the cheapest option, as they are for me. they are however utter poo, so just don't crash ![]() Nothing wrong with VFRs, just they have a bit of an old man image - I'd have one but then I do own a honda Dullville ![]() ![]() |

The only thing I can think of is a faired Bandit 12, an older one. Upright riding position, decent screen and seat is comfy, will do touring no bother... and has plenty of low down oomphf as well.

Yeah. VFR and Bandit are on the agenda. Bandit is the more sensible option, but I'm not a fan of the looks too much, and being awesome as I am, that is a criteria (Sorry bandit owners). I might look further into SV1000 insurance too...
The RC8 is quite big for a sports bike isn't it? ![]() |

To back up fizzwheel you're going to have a job.
I'm 22 and the sv was the cheapest insurance quote i got barn a er5. If you willing to have a pre-2004 bike you mite be able to get hold of a thunderace cheap enough and be able to insure it. Going a few years newer a early thou fazer would fit you as a friend is about your height and ended up with one recently. The VTR's could also be an option if your hearts set on a honda
