Ive never owned a leccy razor but i thinks i'll give one a try. Shaving irritates my skin so the less i shave the better! However, if i could get hold of a 'proper' cut-throat blade i'd give it a go as ive got quite steady hands. (at least i think i have!)

Hell of a way to find out your hands aren't as steady as you thought though!

Electric is OK, but not as nice as a double edged safety IME - if you want one try one of the ones you can use in the shower, use it towards the end of the shower and it's easier on the face I found

For me it's:

Most irritation >> Multi Blade cartridge >> Disposable two blade >> Dry Electric >> "Wet" Electric >> Boots DE safety >> Merkur DE safety >> Least irritation

Although it may be skewed as I normally used King of Shaves gel or similar with the disposable/cartridge razors and I'm using proper soap and a brush with the Merkur

Not man enough to try a cut throat, have a horrible feeling it'd end badly...

I haven't got on with any of the multi-blade razors, especially the Gillette ones, but been using the king of shaves Azor for a while, and its pretty decent. Issue I have with the others is that my bristles are fairly thick and the razors were getting blocked up. Azor doesn't clog up even if I leave it a week.
