sad thing is I think you would have been better off if you hadn't avoided her cause then it would have been her fault as it is no-one else involved and you most properly will end up worse off.
be careful with the replacement bike you could find yourself with a hefty bill for the use of it check with your insurance and if necessary get it in writing what the cost to you will be

I won't be paying anything for the bike hire.
It is her fault because she clearly cut me off - if evidence is needed I'll ask the police to check cctv at the petrol station that she pulled out from as I was riding past it.
The insurer hesitated after hearing I haven't actually hit her (yay for my riding skills!) but than said it's still the same situation

Whats right and what gets proven in court are often different.Do you have any independant witnesses or an admission of guilt from other driver? If not I fear you will struggle to prove your case.Get a bike lawyer on it ASAP.

You could find the door on this open shut case, gets slammed in your face. Iirc strickly your not meant to swerve or is that if a kid runs out infrint of u. Either way prob best u get onto the people who can tell you, usually a consultation is free for an hour or something.

The thread title fairy has been at work again

The whole point of ... is to make you read into the thread to find out what happened. You don't need to read the thread now. It's not a helpful clarification, it's a let down.

I would be getting that asap - lots of systems only have 7 days of recordings.

Well said Ed! Tis one of my very few issues with this forum, seriously over-zealous title moderating

Ps sorry for the derail
