Yeah I would. Not like for like if it were a few hundred quids worth of posh moggy. But I'd get them a new cat. I know how I'd feel if mine got mauled to death by a neighbours dog. Don't know if the neighbour would do the same for me, but what can I say, I'm a nice guy.

I wasn't hallucinating... Saw what looked at first glance to be a small deer down by the canal - not that there are deer by the canal - closer second look said fox. Then Brain kicked in and said "that can't be a fox - it's the size of a small deer"... was though.

Cue x files music

RE Cats and dog runs - I classiffy that like Cats & motorways. Sorry for owner but the occasional price of ultimate freedom cats have.

Alternatively I've half a mind to start trapping them.
Yeah yeah yeah, like wotevaaaaaa. Peeps he loves cats, which is why when he comes to our house he loves having 'a walking kebab' perched on his knee! Specially smelly old cat Angus
Walking kebab being his description of a cat.

Did they really have to hang the bloody fox up like a pheasant on a ladder to demonstrate its largeness?

As for cats and dogs...well right now there are two cats sharing my dogs bed.....and poor Bob is sat looking at his bed with his tail between his legs, waiting for them to move!

The well fed ones are the best hunters.
They hunt for sport, the ones who feed on their prey only hunt when hungry.
We have cats here to keep away the mice. Because if you have mice you soon have snakes as well.
We have 4 cats now. but it would be three if my wife knew which one killed one of the hummingbirds this summer.
