9 years next month from new for the GSX.

30,000miles commuting in its first 3 years. Retired it from donkey duties and bought the SV. A smidge under 60,000 now. Still in good nick, and still look back at it. (I'm pinning, it has been under blankets for 3 months)

I feel I would need to buy 2 bikes to replace it. A fun naked and a two-up tourer. Infact its the 1st bike I have owned where I would consider owning another, always had been of the mind , "Life's too short etc."
ZZR14 / VFR12 / SMT / 12GS float my boat but all come up short in one way or another.

The SV starts every morning and every night. Smidge off 30,000 and 6yrs in July. Sounds fantastic and handles entertainingly enough for me. Will be running it till it dies. Fancy a XT660Z, worse in practically every measurable way, but looks fun.

Bought by SWMBO over a year ago. R reg, 2800miles. Mint. Cheap as chips to buy and run. XV535. Cripples me quicker than the SV. Likely be a Hinkley Bonnie next.

10 Years old with 70k on the clock.

Would i change it? Of course, if i had money. In the meantime, she sits outside my house in semi retirement.

My pointy is 6 years old with 16k on the clock.

I bought it 10 months ago with 11k on the clock. It's my first ever bike so will keep it until it dies, however that happens.

5 years old in August, owned by me for apx 3.5 years. Bought with 1.9k on the clocks and she passed 20k yesterday.

I'll probably keep her for a little while yet...

Had my SV for 4 years. It's 12 years old.

Done around 65kish (have to check the clocks again). Had done 28k when I got it.

I'd expect to keep it another year or two.

First bike, so I'll be loth to see her go and she's getting tatty so resell value won't be too much- so will need lots of spare cash towards the next set of wheels!

my SV is 5 years old, ive had her for 16months. bought with 5350miles on her, now she has 20300miles. i cant see me leaving it as its my first baby

however, if offered the right price and had the right priced bike lined up, i think i could let her go to a new home.

I had the SV 5 years and it did just shy of 30,000 (95%) of that was 'fun miles'

The Gixer has just past 20,000 (in the last month) I've had it 4 years and it had about 4,000 on it when I got it. I'm now looking to change her for something newer. I just don't know what (have a hankering for a KTM 950SM but I'm a stumpy so seat height could be an issue)
