warmshed, glad it worked well . Look 10x better shiny don't they?

Well so far nearly 4 hours since I fitted the clutch cover and no signs of the same leakage. Before it would carry on weaping for a bit after turning the engine off and a drops would be on the garage floor. No sign as of yet, fingers crossed it's done the trick!

Few small bits left to do:

Re-fit side fairing panels
Respray mirrors and barends
Get a screen
Take torque arm to the powdercoaters
Fit stubby levers when they arrive.

Just waiting on my screen to arrive and torque arm to be powder coated and then I'll be back on the road

Finally taken my lowers to the sprayers today. Been quoted £75 for both doing which I think is a bargain! Going to clean the bike today and fit all the fairing brackets ready to fit the fairings at the weekend. Almost there now

That seems a very good price, the paint alone would cost £40+ does that include the prep work or have you already done that?

Seems like a very good price considering the first place I went told me that the materials alone would cost £140. Don't think he wanted to do them tbh... Needless to say I walked away from there lol.

Ended up taking them to a place in Castleford called Eagle Motors and I've half-prepped them up to 400 grade paper but he said he's going to prime them then flat them again before painting. He can mix his own paint so can make just enough to do the fairings. Will have to see what sort of job he does as the price is very good.

I'll get some pics up when they're done.

Got the fairings fitted today and very happy with the finish for £75.

Just need a few more bolts to secure the left hand side properly and then it's sorted .

I was actually considering flogging the lowers and a few other bits as I've been struggling a bit for funds lately but so glad I got them sprayed and fitted. Bike looks a lot better and complete with the full fairing IMO.

BTW, does anyone know where I can get some screws that attach the air scoops to the lowers? Or what size / type they are?
