Should be ok, I'm old & I didn't have any problems with the SV. Anyhoo, here's another update. Today I have been fabricating brackets left right & centre to fit the seat unit & tail light.

Frame cut, bent & rewelded in the right position. My welding leaves a lot to be desired (It's been a while )

If you don't have a welding mask....... Dont try this at home children

Bracket welded on for the CBR600RR front seat. After welding it on I realised that I might have to move it because of the battery box, we'll see.

Dry fit, looks like quite nice

Couple of brackets to fit the rear to

3rd bracket for pillion seat to sit under

Couple of brackets fabricated for the seat catch to be mounted to & my welding is getting better

All brackets fitted.

Well, it's taken me a whole day, but I am really pleased with the results.

Tail light fitted

I should do templates really, but it's a case of offer it up, cut it & hope for the best lol. I was lucky that my old boss dropped a load of galvanised wall hanger brackets off at my shop, so I have quite a good supply of 2 - 4mm steel plate

Completely stripped her today & have sprayed the frame, just hoping that it looks this good when it's dry.

Not too much done this past couple of days. The rebuild has started . I have fitted the CBR600RR rear shock. This is a "suck it & see" exercise" as it has been talked about, but never done, so I'll see when the engine is fitted.
I also need to touch up a few areas of the frame that I missed when spraying it, but shouldn't be too difficult.
