What bikes do people buy after owning an Sv650?

Here's a pic of it. I've heard they're a bit of a 'mare to work on as its all crammed in, but they have a v.good reputation for reliability, only worry for me is that i'll get bored, i like excitement in a bike.

if you want excitement the switch is on the right hand side its called the throttle,and yes the engine is a bit of a job to work on,but i would say its easyer to get to then a speed triple,but it makes no odds as you'l never need to get at more then the plugs every 40k

The VFR I tried just did not fit me, it felt all wrong, which is a massive shame because I have loved them since the NC30 first showed me it's beauty. There is a thread on here somewhere that I complained most bitterly about my dreams being shattered.

Exactly right, personal preference. My SV is the perfect bike for me right now, it makes me happy, riding her is always a pleasure even with a 33BHP ECU in place. Folks, it is all about the love and I love my bike. Mind you, the wife has offered me a go on her Kawasaki ZRX1100, now that is a pretty bike in our opinions, but you should hear what they said about my SV on the ZRX forum!

seriously, not one person one here can tell you what bike to have next, because they ain't you One mans poison etc etc

For example, I was told that I really wouldn't suit my choice of bike straight after an SV, coz
a: I'm a girl and
b: because I couldn't handle the power of a litre bike, because of

b: I ride like a girl
c: Its ugly and they don't like it

Well after my first SV I bought another SV, then traded that for a Daytona 955i then bought another SV then bought a Tornado and now back to the SV again.

Oh and DB you're right... it is ugly
