If you do find anything on flea bay you think is yours don't buy them yourself tho, no matter how tempting. Let the police officer know straight away and let them deal, they may have their own procedures, I know our force do.

I had someone try and buy their own push bike back, asking seller questions, suddenly the listing disappeared and any hope of finding the bike and tracing the seller

gutted for you mark may the ants of africa invade their bums and their arms be short too scratch..

suzuki sales guy advised my sister NOT to think about getting the adventure type bike due to them being so easy to steal, strip and sell - even garaged, the thieving barstewards arent perturbed - used an anglegrinder thru a friends garage door - took the offroad bike and left the CBF - cctv showed the whole episode lasted all of 30 seconds.. they clearly know what they doing!!

I've shared on facebook and twitter. Only problem with having such a distinctive bike, sucks you should be the one getting punished for it. Absolutely gutted to read it this morning, I know it's only a bike at the end of the day but if mine was lifted I really don't know what I'd do, she's all I've got!

They left the Triumph alone then Mark?

I would ask the bobby who has taken your complaint. Obviously the part needs identifying but its the best way to get to that stage.

have you got it alpha dotted ?
