Your 18, couldn't ride a 125 and do a test until at least your 17th birthday, so you're restricted until some point after your 19th birthday (September 2013)?

You do realise that a restricted ZX6R will be probably be slower than a restricted SV right?

SV650S 47.2 lbf·ft (64.0 N·m) @ 7000 rpm
ZX6R 42.9 lb·ft (58.2 N·m) @ 12,000 rpm
I do understand that the bike would be slower restricted... but what if it wasn't?! Hahahaa... and as for your other comment. Yes I would be getting more 18 year old ladies, however, my girlfriend might not like that !!!

have you tried quoting it for fully comp?

in my experience some companies wont insure new'ish bikes on TPFT policies because of my age. Also I'm not 100% but i think if the bike is on finance you have to have fully comp encase of a total loss accident.

I tried with the companies that gave me quotes and they wouldn't insure me Fully Comprehensive... Ahh well ahah... At least i'll be able to pay cash for the bike when it comes to it

simple dont by a ss600 or 1000, they cost me at 20 a fortune to insure so i went for a big capacity naked if you want power at decent costs its the only option in my opinion

Braking into a corner is no biggy, just don't try and be a motogp racer the first time you try it and I never do it in the wet. I am going to be doing a silverstone ron haslam course hopefully this year and next year probably do a RoSPA course.

I'm not saying i'm a top notch racer or anything like that because I'm deffinately not.. those guys brake so late and so hard but I don't hang around and can keep up with most riders until the straights.

I'm only getting 43mpg out of my SV (14.5L gets me about 130-140miles) To be fair to the SV when I rode the 100mile trip to dorset a few weeks back I got 55mpg on A roads... Ninja 600's get 50 easy so I've been told.

It's a good idea and I understand that but a naked just isn't what I want. I had a supermoto before which although small capacity would do motorway speeds and at those speeds I found that i'd get very tired very quickly.

Thankyou for your input though =) Much appreciated

Your better of just doing track days if you want to race with your mates.
Less likely to get a ticket.
In a group of bikes on the road your get big fat fine if your caught together.
An sv ridden properly can stick with big bikes .
You need to ride behind Emma.(Bath Wiggle )
Never left behind on the twisting
On track No idiots pulling out on you.nice big run offs .
And go as fast as you can no points on your licence.

Do you not trail brake on a progressive ride?

I'm always trying to better my riding ability and I will spend literally hours watching all sorts of videos and reading all kinds of tutorials before I set out to try it and even then it can take months
