My only worry with that is getting somewhere late then struggling to find a place.
I will take your advice though and email them just in case, they may even be able to offer an alternative. |

Phil, you got my texts so you know we stayed in the Nouvel Hotel in their most expensive room
![]() The tourist information office were very helpful, finding it was a mission though. Satnav would most definitely been useful navigating the one-way systems of Annecy! Finding a hotel in 30+C in leathers will test your good humour. ![]() Sent from my phone. |

No it didn't Phil, we parked on the pavement opposite and locked the bike to a post. We could also see it from our windows.
It was fine and TBH I have never had a problem leaving my bike parked on the street in France. I worry more about the bike at places like F1 hotels where there is a more 'dodgy' clientèle and they are often in less salubrious areas. I found the places with a garage were in places where I'd be happy to leave the bike on the street and there was always a charge of 5-8 euros for using the garage - but we only actually got charged once. ![]() |

Phil, hope this should show you to one about 20 mins from the lake. I havn't stayed at this one but used several from Bike-stay website on both France trips both last year & earlier this year. Found them all to be very good & great value. Could drop them a line & see what you think ![]() |

Thanks guys.
I've had a message back from the ibis one I looked at originally and apparently there is secure parking at their sister hotel next door so might give them a try as they are less than 500 metres from main part oh and did mention they are cheap ![]() |

Don't know any hotels in Annecy, but I can recommend an awesome pizza joint, and a bar that sells the most expensive beers in the whole wide world!
