Yes the m62 work as my mate got 3 points going up m62 and another 3 coming back as he did 60mph in his van .

The front facing ones could be used to get a bike as they take a pic of the vehicle and driver (whole point d front facing was so they can prove who was driving) and the ANPR tech issues the ticket if necessary. So all bikes will be captured just unable to ID the actual bike.
If you are driving like a c**k they may use CCTV footage which covers front and back to ID you. The rear facing cams are just a money making program design to sting everyone when they realised bikes required a lot of additional work to get.

They take a photo, analyse this to find some yellow squares and read some letters and numbers. If they tried to analyse a bike. God knows what shape, colour etc. Then it would pick up the owl that flew past camera 1, detect the pigeon that went past #3 and the leaf that went past #7 and issue a ticket to the dalia llama for doing 30,532.7mph in a 50 zone. The sheer volume of data to identify a bike on that would make the whole system collapse. Viz they don't see vehicles, they see reg plates. Or if you are on about the front facing flashy type cameras, if you do this enough, or take the p*ss, then they will eventually get around to cross referencing the camera flash with some CCTV to put you at the scene with a picture of your plate.

I wouldn't be so sure. The photo we got of Peg driving the rollerskate, clearly showed a gorilla picking his nose, whilst behind the steering wheel!!

Think I didn't explain that very well YC! May also be confused, it's early!!
I meant the avg cams, they read the plates but also take a pic of the whole "vehicle" that it is attached too. It is prob just a defined size block that gets captured as opposed to the actual car or can etc, just to get a pic of the driver. The reason originally given was to prove who was driving to avoid the ball ache of "it wasn't me it was my partner/mate/dog" argument or if someone appealed it. Think that the bikes are only caught in the pic as matter of course in the video stream so technically you are there and if someone could be bothered to go through it all and check CCTV as well they could do you. It's unlikely unless you are being a proper c**t or pass a rozzer!

Yeah exactly, but then it would be a manual job and incredibly unlikely unless you were spotted or reported being very silly

Thy is true LPH, consistency is the key. my mate got caught back when he had a 250cc Chinese POS because he went through the same camera at about 35 every day for about a 2 months, in the end they just got a car to park there and wait for him.
He never went too fast through the cam, he couldn't on that POS, but it was because it was every day!
