Whao - only just seen this!

Unless I'm massively missing something, accessing the number plate light on a curvy is dead easy - did it myself last week. Two screws in the back of the lumpy thing that the light sits in - undo those and it comes apart. No need to lift pillion seat or anything else.

Just be careful if you're extracting the bulb as v easy to push it further in.

Yep you massively missing something the two screws on the back of the lumpy thing will take off the cover to access the bulb but the unit is removed by taking off the bolts which attach it to the undertray from inside if that all makes sense
