Here is the disc I bought for £20 odd squid. It was delivered relatively quickly and looks alright. I will put it through some serious work tomorrow as instructions said it will take 100 miles to bed in. Seems good value at the moment:

Why do they cost so much though, I mean it's a bit of steel with some holes drilled in it, innit?

There's lots of r&d in well designed discs and quality of steel ,tempering ect that drives the price up of branded discs

I had a set of Chinese ones on my CBR600F. They were excellent easily as good as the OEM discs. The rear even survived getting absolutely cooked when the caliper started jamming on.
There were lots of threads I read through basically those that had tried them got on we'll (some even doing track days) and those that hadn't saying don't chance it.

They were from ebay, basically the same as those linked but a different seller. One of the things to be careful of was the thickness. I think some were on the thin side but those ones will be fine at 5mm.

Don't ever forget how massively overpriced Japanese OE stuff is.. I'm sure that where they make the most profit...!!!
