Well originally they were for men horse riding, but just after that the point was they were impractical to prove you were too rich and posh to need to walk easily.

Reality tv following so called normal people around doing normal things that are scripted..eg MIC ( made in chelsea) , towie, geordie /jersey shore, the valleys and my favourite soon to be on tv.. the essex car company

Xfactor , The voice , Joseph I've lost my jacket etc. Especially where the contestants are recycled from previous episodes.

You spend enough time working in cricket and you realise that it's actually worse than any soap opera. KP demanding the coach is sacked, KP getting sacked himself, Watson and Clarke hating each other, KP getting upset there is a spoof Twitter account that was more entertaining than any of his own tweets, Mickey Arthur getting sacked just days before the Ashes, KP sending texts to the opposition, Chris Gayle refusing to speak to anyone at the West Indies Cricket Board and refusing to write a letter of apology, KP wanting certain matches off to play IPL, Pakistan cheating, KP falling out with the England team, Shane Warne getting up to all sorts before shacking up with Liz Hurley, KP getting injured then being photographed out clubbing when he was supposed to be resting and David Warner picking on an England player who looks about 12 in a bar, KP having a row with the Board because they wouldn't let him fly home to watch his wife take part in Dancing on Ice or whatever she was in.
