Default She's dead Jim.

Break and sell the parts. You'll get more than she's worth as a whole bike.

No was always at least 5mm above E with bike level and cold ive been riding thr bike since Wednesday, had stripped and cleaned carbs, partially drained tank, new sparks, hi flo filters for oil and air from WEMOTO. COM and ngk sparks bike ran super sweet after oil change too it about 70-80 miles after oil change, triple figured for 3 miles then back out to the sticks from city, went down a hill, span a u turn back up the hill (trying to find my buddies)
Back down the hill it lost power, the spark cap was smothered in cv grease to help with the wet plug issue, bike has a fender extender to stop that happening, both of the black things in the carb mover freely and feel the same when moved by hand, I blew up thr overflows ans there is a good supply of fresh clean fuel flowing through the needles, which evaporated off the butterflies as the engine was warm, cran breathers are on the airbox tight and the oil catch filter has been rinsed with petrol to help clean, there are no peculiar noises from the engine apart from the odd pop at idle which sid squid diagnosed as the "idle port?"

when you say plug cap smothered in CV grease do you mean up the cap or round the flange that seals the chamber at the head?

you don't need to smother it you only need a light coating and enough to seal the outside elements from getting inside.

if bike was running fine before service then its something you have done while servicing.

The top flange where seals by top of rocker cover

Bike ran fine wednesday night thursday day time, after the basic sparks and filters with carb clean, the only thing done friday was the oil change, dropped sump plug and the oil feed plug/bolts that seem to go straight up each cylinder, then removed filter left to drain for an hour wobbled biked around then wood block under the kick stand to hold upright, then bit of the old gt85 round the bolt bolt holes and edge of filter mount to wipe down gunk, then all plugs/bolts back in place oiled rim of filter re installed as tight as possible by hand added 2 litres of oil, checked level and added more until the bottom of the (maniscus) oil level was on F

On that basis I dont think it was something done in the service to cause the problem, as it ran finr for 2 days and after thr oil change, the bike had been sitting for 10 months prior to service, has had a new battery and the previously mentions bits changed

Other threads of a similar issue have not resolution to the issue, one part of the foam is loose under the tank but on thr left side half way down and nowhere near the airbox inlet
