Yeah M4 with 3 seemed to win pretty hard yesterday. Does spaz out on my in parts of London though, which is less useful since I live in London.

About a year ago I was Skyping my brother in NYC when he paused speaking and I heard him say something like "Keep the change". I hadn't realised he was walking around skyping over 4G. I thought that was pretty good.

I thought the problem with 3G was when the iPhone 3G came out it demanded so much data it swamped the networks.

Default Longer lasting Smartphone

Not sure if you are going on a contract or not, but Vodafone have silly deals on at the moment sim only. Ultd mins & texts and 4 gb of data on 4g for £26/month. Same with 8 gb for £32 or something. I did that with my old blackberry as over the 2 years I kept the phone, I saved £5 per month over the cost of the contract. Obviously the initial outlay is much bigger.

That's pretty good, I'm using a 3 sim only for my phone, it's a rolling monthly contract (get out when you want) which gives loads of text and minutes (1000s) plus unlimited internet for about £18/mth

I'm not sure a water repellent coating would cut it. There tend to be big holes where charging cables/headphones etc plug in.

The coating could be applied inside the phone too to safeguard electronics....might hamper cooling though...

Just to say. Amazon have a black friday deal on the Experia Z today (not sure the understand the concept of friday, but never mind). If the deals good, I'll probably go for one.

Other question then, does anyone have any experience of 4G netowrks. I think I can get a better deal on vodafone sim only rather then EE, but is the network as good?
