Bike cost me $6000 brand new (that's around 3300 pounds - I don't have the cool symbol). It is my only vehicle.

I never had the mentality that not wearing gear didn't affect others. I've known this even before I started riding. However, as I said before, it's a risk that I'm willing to take at this point. And it's not like I'm not wearing any gear at all, I am wearing a good riding jacket, gloves, helmet, and ankle high boots. I'll hopefully be picking up some textile pants in a few weeks.

Nice vid, and I like the way you have done your bike :P it looks a bit like mine bit in the new shape. Nice site too.

I'm tempted to get into the leathers debate (I haven't bought any yet myself) but I will resist the urge...

I don't see where the debate is. I agree, I do need to be in leathers. But the simple fact is that I don't have them yet. I can't afford them, hopefully sometime in the next couple of months I'll be able to pick up a set.

Yes, I am fully covered with health insurance.

If your point is that if I am without full gear then I shouldn't be riding as aggressively, then I agree. But it's not gonna stop me for the time being. I'm having fun and I accept the risks.

Hey,

I am kinda in the middle on the leathers/no leathers situation. I myself, do not have leather. Though, I only use my bike for town riding. ie: Home, school, home, work, home, etc. The speed limit here is only 40 kph. And the town population is 2000. In saying that... I do believe leathers are important. Also, in the previous statement about insurance, I think this is more a concern of coming out of the crash alive, not worrying about the medical bills. My 2 cents,

Mitch

Hey,

Finally got the video. Cool! Well done! I like at 4 seconds in, when the guitar cuts in, that a bug hits his windscreen. Thanks,

Mitch
