Really Viney! This is not the place for it!
Really? I'd heard that Jambo would take me anywhere?
Guys I keep telling you this is a U rated site!

Despite what people might think I haven't dropped an air cooled flat four into a punto.

Oh for gods sake Herbie it is then.....for now anyway

I'm not circling!

Aha - the mystery is solved - thank you Mr Toad! Hello again to you and Will. Yes it was f'ing freezing - I have never been as cold on my bike as I was on that day. Good job the nice policeman let me warm my hands on his heated grips.

Thanks everyone for being so nice and welcoming to a newbie! hall13uk - you owe someone (me?) a fiver - I wish I did ride a gixxer, but no, it's SO less tasty than that. But hey, I love my bike, it's got me to work and up and down a few motorways all over the winter without scaring the pants off me (only passed my test in October).

Though predictably, I'm already dreaming about an upgrade... SV650S... or CBR600F... or if I win the lottery then I'd love to try a new Triumph Daytona 650 (am I being unwittingly blasphemous here?). If anyone has any views on a good 'second' bike then I'd appreciate them. (If you've got any spare cash to lend me too then that would be handy as well).

What's the best way to find out where and when you're meeting in Frith Street / riding out? To keep checking here?

Cazza x.

Yes there is usually a post up like the "Friday 22nd" poll post. Next one will be "Friday 29th" or something similar. Take a look through there and see who is coming and if you need some help getting there post something up and usually someone will help you get there and then start going out with you, introducing you to all their friends and getting you to give numerous lifts in your very fast car and rope you into skating and going to bars up in north london...........

We meet up in Soho every Friday from 7ish, whereabouts in London are you? Just post up whereabouts you are and someone nearby should be able to lead you in.

As for new bikes, I've got a feeling you might get the SV suggested here, can't imagine why Thor has recently got an SV after test riding the Daytona and the CBR but at the end of the day its a case of testing them and seeing which suits best.

Personally, the SV is my first bike and I only passed my test in Feb and am still very happy with Phantom.

So come on, put us out of our misery, just what bike have you got?

Erm is it just me or has the board had an EtcherSketch moment? Kate's last post on this thread has just disappeared?
