Yer each to their own really.
What i find annoying are large group of bikers, how you suppossed to nod to all of them without getting neck ache!!! I tend to tilt my head and keep it tilted to all of em have gone

 yeah I dunno if theres a definite technique to it. I tend to nod to the front one then soemwhere near the middle and then the back one!  If you nodded to all of them theyd be thinking youve got a nervous twitch!
