Did you find the bearings you needed? 'cos if you're still looking I've just stumbled across the parts book that has the bearing dimensions in it.

Shall I look in the book?

If an SV650 has a flat tyre in the forest and no-one is there to blow it up, how long will it be 'til someone posts that the reg/rec is duff and the world will end unless a CBR unit is fitted? A little bit of knowledge = a dangerous thing.

OK, according to the Bickers big book of bike bits 'n bobs:

Top bearing: OD 47mm, ID 25mm, Height 15mm
Bottom bearing: OD 55mm, ID 30mm, Height 17mm

Cheers Sid, i didnt realise there were two different sized bearings. If i were quoting the number you gave me before when ordering does this refer to a set of the two bearings together?

Yes it should certainly does with the VFR ones when ordered from Moore. By the way they are only 30 quid ish delivered.

And you should find some decent bearing suppliers in Brum, for anyone oop north, try George Lodge in English Street in Hull.

slightly off topic but I rebuilt a forklift mast and saved over £6000 on original bearings :P
