Hehe, not a strong move that fella, to be fair though dude, anyone who rides this time of year will be suffering from serious ‘shrinkage’ after a ride … so you can palm it off to the ladies as that … if you pardon the expression!!

Anyway, yep this guy owns a ‘thou, I am pretty sure he was mostly on the windup, but it did get me thinking, a bit like the 400s, (rightly or wrongly) perhaps they are perceived as a girls bike??

It does sound like others have received some stick about it to, so this really only reinforces that this may be the general opinion???

The best thing with owning a bike that's seen as a girl's bike, is when you wipe the floor with someone they have no comeback If you're on a 636, then people expect you to be fast- but if you're fast on an SV then people are surprised.
