I've had it happen twice to me. Once on way back from hastings it swept down (BANG) into my shoulder week after passed my test and the other more recently. I had cleaned the bike and it was gleaming and it gave me the urge to go for a quick blast. I was gone for 5 mins and got onto an open stretch of dual carriage way and nailed it then out of no where (BANG AGAIN) this time the entire contents of a pigeon were left over me and bike. I didn't know what it was at first. So pulled over and wiped away what i found to be feathers and god knows what else of visor.

I'll pass on that thanks...
What she said.

it was Tim somebloke from Ride andclaimed he hit it at over 160mph. Dont know if he calculated that as a combined collision speed or if he was doing that speed himslef, but he was abroad so its possible.

Broken nose and 2 black eyes, sidepods popped off from the impact but visor maintained its integrity and lid was fine. Pic was funny, bllod on outside = pigeon's and blood on inside = his nose.

Glad your ok in comparison Dan my man.

I had a pheasant hit me straight on the head last year, and if we hadn't had the top box on I would have been off the back of the bike. Not funny at 60 mph(Honest Officer ) I had a headache for a couple of days and a sore neck.

The guys riding behind nearly fell off laughing, as apparently the pheasant just exploded
