Items sold in the shop could be considered "Shop soiled" and therefore a discount applicable on that basis, but it isn't like that is it?

In my case, I guess I've just been lucky that I've got away with internet prices in the store. That, and they probably knew that I would just go home & order online anyway, so they'd rather make the sale today in the store, than wait until next month to get my money.
