If I was a teenager starting out again I know what I would be dreaming of - The SV wouldnt even be considered (yet). The bike is high strung top spec totti!

I hope to be able to own an rs at some point.

CERTAINLY not a machine to use as your sole mode of transportation but they are damn fun to ride. Well 2 strokes anyway.

I've had 3 RS' in my time, and i loved them to bits (quite literaly) seized one twice within 7k miles, but it is well worth it. Once i get my busa i'll probably end up trading in the SV for another RS125. to be honest the performance of the SV isn't far greater than the RS. The 'prillia could easily out break and out corner the SV and it doesn't lag too far behind in speed and acceleration. Ohh, and they are gorgeous machines tae.

That's the main thing I love with 2 strokes. The rich scent of oil as they scream on by. It absolutely makes the event when watching the 250cc strokers at Olivers Mount.

Sorry mate, don't agree. My RS was pretty modded and putting out a genuine 35bhp. Granted, it would corner better than the SV but was nowhere close on acceleration. Excellent performance for a 125, but struggled to keep up with my dads old Honda 500.

I agreed with Godikus all to the point that he suggested it would stick with an SV for pace. Nah good as they are they cant do that. They take a lot longer to get up to their top speed and do not have the drive out of corners that the SV offers.
