Neway, I'll jus keep my eye out for a cheap one. Gna hav 2 match the price of my NSR so seems I wont be able to get the newer pointy one.
Blipping the throttle to match the engine revs to the next gear down? A little skill, but as I have mastered it, not a lot! If you are already doing it on your NSR, then you might just need to refine it a little as a 4-stroke v-twin is less forgiving that your NSR.

My first bike was an NSR125ss great bike not very reliable I bought mine brand new looks bigger and better than it is!! from this went to a CBF600n novelty of the extra power wore off after about a month and ended up hating it as it was vefy heavy and cumbersome and was quite happy when it was nicked only ****ed off that I had to drive to work for a month! then got my SV650s brand new sept 2005 and still love it!!! Fantastic bike still keeps me interested sounds great with the race can on!!! Would love a GSXR750 but insurance is too much! but the SV is great!!!

Well for one thing they don't teach you to operate both front brake and throttle and the same time on a DAS course, quite the opposite in fact. I got a couple of tellings off for that in fact. I'm sure it's not the toughest thing to do in the world, certainly no harder than a heel-toe downchange in a car, but practice makes perfect and if I said I was doing it perfectly every time after just 1 month of not a great deal of riding, I think you'd all know I was lying.
