If the wheel isn't straight then get a quote from Maidstone Motoliners. They straightened a wheel on my Triumph trophy for £50 and did a top job.

I know nothing about rebuilding an SV but what strikes me is that your bike is as clean with all the bits stripped off as it was before the smash. How do you manage it?

I can't remember. Best approach would be to weigh the wheel and then have a look on the Royal Mail site. I posted mine without discs and tyre.

I would get your wheel fixed. There is no guarantee that a second hand wheel will be straight anyway as, in my experience, they bend quite easily!

My mate used them and they did a superb job on a soft cheese Ducati wheel

IIRC it was only £10 delivery there and back from Norfolk!

forks are in, standard exhaust is on, rear indicators changed, front sub frame on, mud guard on, bar ends on, crash mushrooms removed, tank bracket changed,

just need a speedo the front wheel checking for straightness and the nose fairing painting then she will live again! trouble is i dont want to really sell her it would be greedy to keep two wouldnt it ?
