i got a puig db. looks the dogs danglies but problem is i'm 6'2" and no screen will be that beneficial if your that height. At 50 i can sit with my visor up happily, but at 80+ it causes alot more buffeting on my head which is a little annoying

For me though the Fog City was an absolute nightmare and I changed it for a Foggy mask which I find much more comfortable. Also if you think its bad on a faired, try riding a naked...... |

![]() The double bubble screen works fine on the sports SV if you keep your head on the tank, the wind will ride over the bubble and your helmet. Causes less neck fatigue that way. |

![]() Seriously though, becuase I have a Nava helmet, it just didnt sit right inside it. They also refused me a refund when I tried to return it. ![]() The foggy is removeable and also covers my rather ample conk! As with everything its horses for courses..... |

Also (since I only got one reply on the suits forum,) can anyone recommend a single skin one piece rain romper? Something that folds up small. Was trying some on in Busters last weekend and I had difficulty getting them on; sweated about 5 lbs doing it too.. ![]() ![]() ![]() John |

I did my first ever motorway commute from Leeds to Sheffield today (about 40 motorway miles) and I have to say it wasn't very comfortable. Up to a touch over the speed limit things are fine but up above 80 it's quite unpleasant. The constant whistling of the wind through my helmet vents (Shoei Raid 2) is quite annoying and the fact that if I try and sit up the wind tries to pull my helmet off force me to stay crouched as low as I can. I've got a curvy S with a standard screen but I'm 6'1" with very broad shoulders and a back problem and struggle to tuck in without feeling a) uncomfortable and b) ridiculous.
My bike also feels very twitchy at high speed, especially behind large vehicles. I'm guessing due to the turbulent air, but also I have stiffened up the standard rear shock to cope with my 17 stone weight but haven't touched the standard front forks. Any thoughts - does a double bubble make that much difference? I don't want to be too negative as I'm a relative novice but i think I prefer city riding and filtering. |
