DoubleD, I just removed the HTML code around your pic address & added [IMG] tags.

Ok, this might sound condescending and I know you're new but could you use the search function before asking? No offence meant.

Search clear indicators

clear indicators topic today

Search author DoubleD & word 'clear lenses'

I took a drill to remove the rivits and took end cap off, then used a angle grinder and took about 3 - 4 inches off, replaced endcap with rivits.

the effect made the can look better on my bike, sounded pretty much the same.... I love that v-twin thump!

As for the lenses Law has covered that one (Thanks again Law)

Cheers double D. I didn't want to ruffle feathers though with the lense question. It seemed fitting to ask YOU whilst I asked another question about your bike to save search time.

I love the popping on overrun, especialy under bridges!

Any more pictures of it shortened? And how easy is it to rivet? how do you do it?
Cheers

Sorry, I owe you a public apology. I didn't mean to have a go at you.

I was having a bad day that day (Yes, I force help on people when I have a bad day) and I just got a bit ruffled over a small thing about lazy people derailing threads (which I do a lot as well, in fact I'm derailing now ).

It wasn't you or your post that was actually annoying me, it was something else.

Not got any more pics yet, waiting for the sunshine (you see I'm one of these that hides in the winter)

My mate has a pop riveter so it was just a case of drilling new holes after cutting it shorter for the new rivets to go in, job done.
